LZU’s 1st postdoctor in prataculture finishes research

 

On October 27th, the report of the first postdoctor of the Mobile Post-doctoral Station in Prataculture at Lanzhou University was held at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of Biye Building. The assessment and review team consists of 7 experts, namely, academician Ren Jizhou, academician Nan Zhibiao, prof. Hou Fujiang and prof. Shen Yuying from Lanzhou University, prof. Li Fadi and prof. Zhang Renzhi from Gansu Agricultural University, and researcher Xu Zhongmin from Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, led by Ren Jizhou.

At the meeting, the cooperation tutor academician Nan Zhibiao made a comprehensive introduction of Dr. Tang Zeng’s research. Dr. Tang reported his study and research from three aspects including loess plateau solid carbon potential, economic cost and time effect, and introduced the research background, main contents and innovative points of his research in detail. The assessment and review team made a strict review on his research report through questioning. The experts held that the research provides an important reference to further understanding carbon fixation in different cropping system in terms of economy and policy, and is of significant academic value and practical significance for our country to improve farming system in the loess plateau region and solid carbon emission reduction. The team all agreed and appreciated his research.

At last, the team leader Ren Jizhou, on behalf of all the experts present put forward ardent hope and pointed out the development direction of his future work.
