On September 22nd, Prof. Du Yubo, the President of the China Association of Higher Education(CAHE), led a delegation to visit the Council of French-speaking Universities of Belgium and the University of Namur, where they held talks with Jeroen Darquennes, President of the Universities Council, and Annick Castiaux, the Rector of Namur University respectively. President Yan Chunhua, the Vice President of CAHE and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and other delegates attended the meeting.
During the visit, President Du Yubo and his delegation visited the laboratory of Prof. Bao-Lian Su, Academician of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences and Presidential Chair Professor of the University of Namur, and discussed their cooperation with Lanzhou university and others in the fields of new materials and new energy.
