LZU Research Team Makes Significant Progress in the Evolution and Prediction of Nutrient Levels in Chinese Lakes

On March 26, the research team led by Prof. Chen Jianhui from the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University (LZU) published a paper in Nature Communications under the title of “Nitrogen and phosphorus trends in lake sediments of China may diverge”. The first author of this paper is doctoral student Ji Panpan and the corresponding author is Prof. Chen Jianhui. Researchers from Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Hainan University (HNU) were also participated in the research.

The research was supported financially by the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research Program (STEP) (2019QZKKO601)(J.C.), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (41790421) (F.C.).
