The Office of the Alumni Association is responsible for the Secretariat of Lanzhou University Alumni Association, which guides and coordinates regional alumni associations to carry out legitimate and meaaningful activities. In addition, it creates a communication platform for the development of alumni, and promotes the exchange between LZU and social communities. The specific work is as follow:
- Be responsible for promoting and guiding the establishment and development of alumni organizations;
- Be responsible for the planning and execution of alumni activities;
- Be responsible for the guidance of alumni work in secondary units to promote the alumni work of all units in LZU;
- Be responsible for liaising with and uniting alumni to support the development of LZU;
- Be responsible for alumni return service, including the processing of alumni card, maintenance and operation of “alumni home”, activity assistance and so on;
- Be responsible for maintenance and operation of alumni association database, alumni network, WeChat official account and Weibo of alumni association, and be responsible for news writing, auditing and releasing of alumni news center;
- Assist in editing and publishing of the alumni magazine Original Version of Reader· Lan daren
- Be responsible for making all kinds of administrative rules and regulations of the Secretariat, formulating work plans and summarizing work experience.
