Since 2013, LZU has undertaken 56 national key programs, including the Special Program of National Key Research and Development Plan, 973 Program, Major Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science Foundation Program for Distinguished Young Scholars, Major and Key Programs of National Social Science Fund of China, etc. Besides, the university is also devoted to 867 programs of The National Natural Science Fund of China, with the accumulated expenditure reaching RMB 590 million.
During the past five years, LZU has undertaken 8 major programs, 1 special program of National Social Science Fund of China with a fund of RMB 6.4million; 1 Key Project of Ministry of Education at a cost of RMB 800,000.
