The 2018 Singapore International Piano Elite Invitational Competition(SIPEIC) came to a successful end at concert hall of Chinese Cultural Centre in Singapore on February 9th. Through the competitions in preliminary period and finals, Zhang Anqing, Hao Jiayuan, Guo Tianhe and Yang Linsheng, the students from the School of Arts, LZU, won 11 prizes in total, including one Special Award, five 2nd prizes and five 3rd prizes, which brought great honor to LZU. All these four students have been under the insturction of Li Liping, who serves as office director of clavier and Occident music teaching at the School of Arts, LZU.
The awards are as follows:
Zhang Anqing of 2015 won the Best Talent Potential Award, the 2nd prize in group of performing Liszt’s works, the 2nd prize of senior 00 of Chinese works and the 3rd prize in youth group.
Hao Jiayuan of 2016 was awarded the 2nd prize in group of performing Rachmaninoff’s works and the 3rd prize in group of performing Tchaikovsky’s works.
Yang Linsheng of 2016 won the 2nd prize in senior performing group of Bach’s works, the 2nd prize in performing group of Schubert’s works and the 3rd prize in group of performing Beethoven’s works.
Guo Tianhe of 2016 was awarded the 3rd prize in group of performing Liszt’s works and the 3rd prize in performing group of Schubert’s works.
