In response to the invitation of the CTBTO（CTBTO-Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization）, the IAEA（IAEA-International Atomic Energy Agency）, the Center of Nuclear Technology in Danish University of Science and Technology, Université Paris Diderot, and French National Research Center, Prof. Wu Wangsuo from the School of Nuclear Science and Technology in Lanzhou University went to the mentioned international organization, universities and research institutions for extensive academic exchanges from October 22nd to November 7th.
In Vienna, Prof. Wu Wangsuo participated in the discussions of “ON-Site Inspections on the Test Stand” held by the CTBTO and “Training for Energy Planning-Atoms for Peace” held by the IAEA, and expressed his idea of "turning swords into plowshares, and nuclear used for peace" for peaceful use of nuclear energy and nuclear talent cultivation, which was widely agreed by his counterparts. In Copenhagen, Wu Wangsuo participated in the Ph.D thesis defense as a member of defense committee in Danish University of Science and Technology. In Europe, Wu Wangsuo conducted extensive academic exchanges with the mentioned organization, universities and institutions to discuss the matters such as further deepening bilateral cooperation on scientific research and joint training of talents, etc.
