On the afternoon of March 10th, Zhu Wei, Vice-Chancellor of University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and his companion visited LZU. Vice-President Li Yumin met with the guest. Heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange attended the meeting.
Li Yumin extended warm welcome to the delegation and affirmed the partnership between the two universities to begin a new chapter of exchange activities. At the same time, he hoped that the two universities could carry out substantive cooperation in short-term and long-term exchanges as well as trainings among students, teachers and administrative staff. Li Yumin also made far-reaching plans for the joint construction of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools and overseas education as well.
Zhu Wei introduced the disciplines, international development plans and existing international cooperation projects of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Then he put forward suggestions on professional direction and talent-cultivating modes of the cooperation in running schools with LZU.
