Chinese volunteers celebrate New Year abroad

In the middle of December, 10 MTCSOL (Master’s Program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) students from the School of Chinese Language and Literature of Lanzhou University arrived at the Confucius Institute in Georgia and worked as Chinese teaching volunteers. In Georgia, they worked hard together with the local teachers, teaching Chinese and spreading Chinese culture. It is also the first time for them to celebrate the Spring Festival of 2013 in a foreign country. At the invitation of Chinese Embassy in Georgia and with the kindly care of the ambassador Chen Jianfu and his wife counselor Li Xiaobin, they had a happy and peaceful time, which is also reported on Xinhuanet.
