PRL publishes Prof. Liu Xiang’s research again

The research paper titled“Predictions of charged charmonium-like structures with hidden-charm and open-strange channel” (http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v110/i23/e232001), completed by Prof. Liu Xiang’s research team from the School of Physical Science and Technology at LZU, was published in one of the most authoritative and well-recognized academic journal in the field of physical research ---“Physical Review Letters(PRL)”(Phys. Rev. Lett. 110, 232001 (2013))on June 7th, 2013, which is the second time for his team to publish their research in PRL since 2010. It is said that the research has attained the funding support from National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation, and LZU’s special fund.

In the abstract, it says, “We propose the initial single chiral particle emission mechanism, with which the hidden-charm dikaon decays of higher charmonia and charmoniumlike states are studied. Calculating the distributions of differential decay width, we obtain the line shape of the J/ψK+ invariant mass spectrum of ψi→J/ψK+K-, where ψi=ψ(4415), Y(4660), and ψ(4790). Our numerical results show that there exist enhancement structures with both hidden-charm and open-strange channels, which are near the DD̅ s*/D*D̅ s and D*D̅ s*/D̅ *Ds* thresholds. These charged charmoniumlike structures predicted in this Letter can be accessible in future experiments, especially BESIII, BelleII, and SuperB.”
