International students of LZU visit Xi’an for cultural experience

On June 22nd, the faculty of the School of International Cultural Exchange organized an interesting two-day trip for 180 some foreign students to our ancient capital city Xi’an in a view to enrich students’ understanding of splendid Chinese culture.

In Xi’an, we visited Terra-cotta Warriors, the Underground Palace of Emperor Qin, Shaanxi History Museum, Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Huaqing Hot Springs, Street of Folk Customs, and the Grand Ming Palace Square. Thanks to the cultural classes given by our professional teachers and elaborate explanation of our tour guide, our students truly experienced a profound baptism of Chinese Culture.

Countless cultural relics of Shaanxi province have largely broadened the horizon of our students. Every place and every cultural object contains an outstanding period of time in history and the wisdom of our ancestors. This two-day trip has proved very meaningful to our students in enhancing their enthusiasm towards Chinese language and Chinese culture.
