FICC held at LZU

Exhibigiton Hall

The Fifth Festival of International Culture and Communication (FICC) was successfully held on the main campus of LZU on Dec. 30, 2013. The festival, consisting of culture exhibition, food exhibition, clothing exhibition and theatrical performance, attracted a large audience, including the leaders from functional departments and schools of LZU.

On the culture exhibition, foreign students made exhibition boards to demonstrate their own cultures; on the food exhibition, they brought their own special foods prepared by themselves and invited other students to have a taste; portraits with hallowed-out face on the clothing exhibition board attracted students and teachers to take photos; in the final and most important part, all foreign students jointly presented a wonderful performance.

Chorus of International Students

The fashion show performed by international students from 32 countries attracted audience’s attention at the opening of the performance. Some programs, including Chi gung performed by Pakistani students, dance by South Korean students and Chinese folk song “Jasmine” by students from Republic of Belarus, Kyrghyzstan and Mongolia, won the audience’s applause.

Graduate Student Union of LZU also took part in the festival and introduced Chinese traditional culture by performing Tai Chi fan and tea art. 

This festival is not only a feast for the eyes, ears and tongue but also a platform for the communication between foreign students and Chinese students.
