On Dec. 12 and 13, 21 scientists from Arid Land Research Center of Tottori University, Key Laboratory of Desert and Desertification of Chinese Academy of Sciences and School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology of LZU jointly visited Minqin Experimental Base for the Prevention and Control of Desertification and Breeding Sheep Feeding Ground at Qinfengtan. They also attended the opening ceremony of the Teaching and Research Base of School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology of LZU. Professor Atsushi Tsunegawa, the director of Arid Land Research Center of Tottori University, Professor Wang Tao, the director of Lanzhou Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor Hou Fujiang, the Dean of School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology of LZU attended this investigation.
The scientists from the two countries held a seminar at the Key Laboratory of Desert and Desertification of Chinese Academy of Sciences and discussed scientific research cooperation before the investigation. Japanese scientists also paid a visit to the School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology.
