Recently, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council has issued The Audited Addition and Revocation of the Authorized Master’s Degree Programmes List in 2014 (Degree [2014] No. 14). LZU was authorized with two new professional master’s degree programmes in art and nursing. A more complete range of the professional master’s degree programmes has been established and the personnel training hierarchy has become further optimized in LZU. Now, LZU has one professional doctoral degree programme in clinical medicine and eighteen professional master’s degree programmes in finance, applied statistics, law, social work, Chinese international education, translation, journalism and communications, engineering, agricultural extension, clinical medicine, stomatology, public health, nursing, pharmacy, business administration, public administration, accounting and art.
In recent years, LZU closely follows the trend of graduate education reform and the major guideline of “meeting needs and improving quality”. In line with realities, LZU actively meets the needs of national and regional economic and social development by working harder in authorization auditing, training programs, mentor teams, and practical aspects to continuously explore and improve the career-oriented graduate training mode, and promote its sound and rapid development.
