After the comprehensive evaluation by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China （ISTIC）with measurable academic indicators, the paper "Direct Annulations toward Phosphorylated Oxindoles: Silver-Catalyzed Carbon-Phosphorus Functionalization of Alkenes" published in the Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2013, 52, 3972 -3976) of the Prof. Yang Shangdong’ research team of the State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry was selected into the 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers in China in 2013 with nearly 46 citations. In recent years, Prof. Yang Shangdong’s research team has made significant progress in organic phosphorus chemistry in novel ways such as decarboxylation coupling, CC bond activation and dehydrogenation coupling, making some important building of CP bond and synthesis of a variety of organic phosphorus compounds. For example, the dehydrogenation coupling reaction is used for the first time to achieve the asymmetric synthesis of novel anti-AIDS drugs IDX899. Currently, these important research results have been published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Org. Lett, Chemm. Commun., and Chemistry-A European Journal and other famous international chemistry journals. The publication of these papers attracted the attention of domestic and foreign counterparts. Synlett specially invited the authors to make a summary report on the progress of the research in phosphorus chemistry in the form of Synpacts (Synlett, 2013, 24 to Synpacts form, 1739-1744). At the same time, Chinese Journal of Organic Chemistry also highlighted the papers (Chinese Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2013, 33, 1352). In addition, Beilstein J. Org. Chem. also invited Prof. Yang Shangdong’s research team to publish papers in its phosphorus chemistry column in 2014, and Prof. Yang Shangdong was invited to attend the 20th International Conference on Phosphorus Chemistry Conference in Dublin, Ireland and give a report in 2014 (20th International Conference on Phosphorus Chemistry Conference, ICPC2014).
