Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee issued the notification of "Approval of 291 Post-doctoral Research Centers Including the One in Philosophy of Liaoning University" (MOHRSS [2014] No. 60), publishing the list of the ninth group of newly-approved post-doctoral research centers. LZU is entitled to establish two new post-doctoral research centers in Chinese Language and Literature and Materials Science and Engineering. By now, LZU boasts 19 post-doctoral research centers, covering nine disciplines of economics, law, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine and management. The establishment of new post-doctoral research centers makes LZU’s discipline layout more complete and provides a strong supporting platform for the academic development.
