On January 13, the newly-elected Chinese President of LZU-Georgia-Sponsored Confucius Institute Che Rushan visited the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Yue Bin.
Yue Bin congratulated the new president on his taking office and introduced to him the development of the relations between China and Georgia. Yue Bin spoke highly of the achievements made by the LZU-Georgia-Sponsored Confucius Institute in promoting the Chinese language and spreading Chinese culture during the past four years since its establishment. He said that the Chinese embassy in Georgia will continue to support the development of Confucius Institute and provide necessary assistance.
President Che Rushan thanked Ambassador Yue Bin and the embassy for their help and support to the LZU-Georgia-Sponsored Confucius Institute and for their care for the Chinese teachers and volunteers. He referred that the institute would spare no effort to do a good job in promoting the Chinese language, spreading Chinese culture and developing the China-Georgia friendship.
