On the AMBA 2014 Asia-Pacific Annual Conference held in Auckland, New Zealand, from Nov. 12 to 14, LZU MBA program was officially announced accreditated. So far, LZU has become the 22nd university of mainland China and the first university of the five Northwestern provinces which is accreditated by AMBA. The accreditation marks that the MBA program of LZU has integrated with the international business education. This is a milestone for the development of the MBA program of LZU.

From Sep. 15 to 16, the expert group of AMBA did the field evaluation at Lanzhou University. During the process of accreditation, the expert group listened to the dean’s report and had a discussion with the representatives of the employers, students, and excellent alumni, and teaching faculties.

AMBA is short for Association of MBAs which headquarter is located in London. It is one of the three most authoritative accreditation systems. It mainly aims at the international accreditation of MBA programs. So far, in more than eighty countries and regions, only more than 200 business schools are accreditated.
