To further cooperation with American famous universities, Dean Guoxian Bao, Associate Dean Wensheng He and Associate Prof. Xuejun Wang visited Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, Portland State University and University of Nevada, Reno successively from March 9 to 13, 2015. Ideas upon cooperative education, exchange of staff and students, scientific research and co-hosting international conferences, etc. were exchanged.
The group also visited Prof. Richard Karplus and Prof. Aaron Donsky of Silicon Valley University and had a discussion of developing start-up models and courses.
The visit consolidated the cooperation achievement between our school and universities in the United States and expanded the cooperation net and cooperation programmes. These will greatly promote the operation of the international strategies of our school, and have a positive and profound influence on the scientific research level and international impact of our school.
