Sanae Oda, the executive director of the Tokyo Foundation, and her party visited Lanzhou University and communicated with the management committee of the Ryoichi Sasakawa scholarship in the school on July 7th.
Pan Baotian, the vice-president of Lanzhou University welcomes their visit and thanks Tokyo Foundation for its continued support and help. He points out that the Ryoichi Sasakawa scholarship is one of the most important scholarships for the graduate students of liberal arts in our school. The establishment of this scholarship greatly promotes the development of humanities and social science in our school, cultivates and brings up a large number of creative talents, and improves the comprehensive quality of the graduate students. By 2007, the Ryoichi Sasakawa scholarship has been established in our school for 25 years.
