LZU holds 19th NSAC, 6th CSWMR, & 2016 IWSSNMR

The 19th National Spectroscopy Academic Conference (NSAC), the 6th Cross-Strait Workshop on Magnetic Resonance (CSWMR) and 2016 International Workshop on Solid State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (IWSSNMR) were held in LZU from 17th August to 20th August. More than 390 representatives, from countries such as China, USA, France, Canada, Russia, and regions such as HK and Taiwan, took part in this meeting. Pan Baotain, the vice president of LZU, was present in the opening ceremony and addressed the conference.

There were 6 invited reports, 3 applying reports for Wang Tianjuan Award; 5 progress reports of new technology and 63 oral representations in this conference, whose contents refer to nuclear magnetic resonance, electron paramagnetic resonance, MRI and other related theories, methods, techs on magnetic resonance area as well as their new achievements and applications on physics, chemistry, materialogy, biology and medical science, completely showing the current progress of magnetic resonance research in China.

The 6th Cross-Strait Workshop on Magnetic Resonance invited 27 experts in related fields to join in 14 academic reports to discuss the newest thoughts and development trends in the area in-depth, establishing a good foundation for further academic exchange and scientific research cooperation.

The 2016 International Workshop on Solid State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance invited more than 10 international renowned experts in the fields to address 10 invited reports. The representatives made a further exploration to the newest research results and development trends of solid state nuclear magnetic resonance in the mechanism study of heterogeneous catalytic reaction, hyperpolarized technology, solid material characterization and biological and medical application fields, etc, and they also exchanged views on future cooperation and research.

These conferences not only presented the newest results and progress in magnetic resonance area but also provided a leading and international academic communication place for the experts, researchers and enterprises who studied in the research and application of magnetic resonance.
