The Confucius Institute of the Liberty University in Tbilisi constructed by LZU hosted a large-scale culture promotion experience in Gamofena, Tbilisi convention center from May 26th to 29th.
Chinese talents and Chinese knowledge were included in this activity. Types of facial makeup in operas, paper cutting, Chinese knots and classical paintings and calligraphy were in the Chinese talents exhibition area; some relative books were shown in the Chinese knowledge area, such as Chinese textbooks, cultural readings and brochures on Confucius Institute etc. Che Rushan, Chinese dean of the Confucius institute, together with the Chinese teachers and the Chinese volunteers, organized the activity.
The audience claimed that it was more a chance to get close to China than one to enrich one’s knowledge.
Moreover, the new book press conference of YCT Dictionary was also hosted in Confucius Institute.
The activity lasted for 4 days, Confucius Institute of the Liberty University in Tbilisi, which was constructed by Lanzhou University, the large-scale book festival had dropped the curtains, over 20 thousand people were participated in this activity. This activity got well responses, and it’s large scale and coverage was unparalleled. Chinese culture was not only introduced effectively in this activity and for this reason, it also extendeds the influence of the Confucius Institute in local area.
