From May 6th to May 9th, 2016 International Conference on Microfluidic Chip and Micro/NanoScale Bioseparation Analysis (ICMSB) (Lanzhou), the 10th National Conference on Micro Total Analysis Systems (MicroTAS) and the 5th National Symposium on Micro/NanoScale Bioseparations and Bioanalysis (MSB) were held in Lanzhou University.
At the opening ceremony, vice-president of Lanzhou University Pan Baotian expressed that the development of bio-science put forward higher requirements on analytical chemistry, especially on bio-analytical chemistry, and that the microfluidic chip and micro/nanoScale bioseparation analysis technology has incomparable advantages, which has broad application in chemistry , biology , agriculture , environment , food and medicine field. This conference will further promote the rapid development of micro-nano scale analysis technology .

Professor Yang Pengyuan, chairman of the committee, announced the winners of Zhao-Lun Fang Yong Researcher Lecture Award and Zhao-lun Fang Young Reseacher Poster Award. Promulgation honored guests, such as academician Tu Yongqiang, awarded prize for these winners.
This conference was hosted by Chinese Chemical Society, undertaken by Lanzhou University and co-organized by Nanjing University , Fudan University , and Zhejiang University. More than 500 representatives from China , the United States , France , South Korea , the Czech republic and Hong Kong attended the conference. In addition, 22 media partners and exhibitors participated in the conference. The conference received 327 abstracts and deployed one main venue and 4 break-out rooms. There were 8 lectures in the main venue, 173 lectures in the break-out rooms, and 115 wall newspaper exhibition, which provides a good exchange and exhibition platform for scholars, researchers and firms who are engaged in microfluidic chip technology and micro/nanoScale bioseparation analysis technology .
