The women’s volleyball team of Lanzhou University ranked the third in the 2016 Chinese University Volleyball Tournament after eight matches in seven days. It has been the best performance of the women’s volleyball team of Lanzhou University in a national contest. The 2016 Chinese University Volleyball Tournament was hold in BaoTou Medical College in Mongolia on 4th, May, 2016.
The women’s volleyball team of Lanzhou University acquired participating qualification of this tournament by ranking seventh of north contesting area in the 2015-2016 Chinese University Volleyball Association. After hard training, the women’s volleyball team of Lanzhou University did their best to perform the spirit of Lanzhou University - constantly improving, blazing our own path.
There are 22 universities participated in this contest, namely over 300 players in 24 men and women’s volleyball teams. After 92 matches, the volleyball teams of Jilin University, Fudan University and Northwestern Polytechnical University won the first three of men’s contest, while the teams of BaoTou Medical College, Nanjing Agriculture University and Lanzhou University won the first three of women’s contest respectively.
