The international conference on matrix theory and its application international conference on theory of matrix and its application was held in LZU during from July 22nd to 26th. Pro.Jiang Erxiong from Shanghai University, an expert on matrix calculation, delivered a speech on the opening ceremony as one of the chairmen of the meeting. Pan Baotian, vice president of LZU attended the conference and gave a welcoming speech.
Before the conference, the science committee of the conference has received 63 academic papers and abstracts from attendees of various countries. Examined by the experts commissioned by the science committee of the conference, 46 papers in all were selected as academic reports during the conference, including 8 invited keynote speeches and 38 general reports. More than 150 representatives attended the meeting.
A symposium on the Development and Future of Linear Algebra in China was held during the conference, over 80 deputies with senior professional post attended the seminar.
With the latest research results in various fields of matrix theory, matrix calculation and its application shown in the reports of the conference, this conference fully shows the international standards and academic attainments.
