LZU Undergraduate Student Won 1st in 2016 National Computer Design for College Students

The 2016 (9th) National Computer Design for College Students finished its national finals in late July and mid August. School of Information and Science & Engineering and Art Academy of Lanzhou University organized students to submit their products and won a first prize, four second prizes and a third prize. 

Pan Lusheng, a senior student from Art Academy, designed a mobile app named Fishes for Android with other students under the guidance of Liu Yang, and won the first prize of Independent Task Group. Zhang Wenhui, a junior student majoring education and technology, designed a mini-class named Derivation of the Formula for Calculating the Square of Parallelogram with other students under the guidance of Li Juan, and Zhang Xiaofeng, also a junior student of the same major, designed a mini-class named Tolman’s Mice with others under the guidance of Gao Ruoyu and Cui Xiangping; both these mini-classes won the second price of Mini-class and PowerPoint Presentation Group. A junior student called Mao Guangliang of the same major with Zhang aforementioned designed a short animation film named Maomao and Dolphin under the guidance of Hu Xiaoling and Liu Chunyan and a microfilm named The Sight of One’s Back under the guidance of Zhao Linjun and Zeng Shubin, both of which won the second prizes of Digit and Media Designing Group. Hao Saiyu, a junior student majoring computer science and technology, designed Home for Workers - A Free Service Platform for Immigrant Workers with other students under the guidance of Ma Zhixin and Ma Jun, and won the third prize of Software Service Outsourcing (Independent Task).

This final saw the best performance in the history of Lanzhou University’s participation of this event. Besides, this is the second time that Gansu Province won the first prize of this event.
