The Uzbekistan International Education Exhibition was held in Tashkent Cultural and Educational Center from 31th, March to 2nd, April. And Confucius Institute of Lanzhou University at Tashkent was invited to the exhibition.
Hundreds of universities and related education institutions from more than 50 countries participated in the exhibition. These participants included well-known universities from abroad,like the United States, Britain, Australia and China, such as Lanzhou University of Science and Technology, Qinghai Nationalities University and Beijing Foreign Studies University, etc.
Many students and parents were attracted by the three-day exhibition, among which the Confucius Institute of Tashkent was more popular. The Chinese and foreign teachers carefully explained Chinese language teaching method, cultural activities in Confucius Institute and how to apply for the Confucius Institute scholarship. Furthermore, the tea art performance and calligraphy show in front of the stand, become the highlight of School of International Cultural Exchange school of Lanzhou University, drawn many people’s attention. What’s more, thousands of handouts not only expanded the popularity of Confucius Institution but publicized Chinese Culture and Lanzhou University.
China’s universities and study abroad agencies in the exhibition believed with the increasing numbers of people learning Chinese, studying in China would become the first choice for students in Uzbekistan.
