Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China held a release conference of 2016 statistic results of Chinese scientific and technical papers in Beijing on October 12th. In 2015, SCI database embodied 296.8 thousand Chinese scientific and technical papers,ranking the second in the world for seven years in a row.
According to the results, there were 1564 scientific and technical papers of Lanzhou University embodied in SCI database. This number increased by 5% than last year and ranked the 33th among national universities. Furthermore, EI database collected 862 papers of Lanzhou University, which were the 33th among national universities. Moreover, CPCI database included 77 papers, ranking the 91th among national universities. Besides, Science, Nature, Cell and PNAS collected one paper for each journal, making LZU ranking the 20 thamong national universities.
660 good performance papers of Lanzhou University had been published in 2015, which ranked the 29th among national universities. There were 126 papers published on journals that SCI subject influence factor belonged to the first ten percent among other journals. These papers made LZU ranked the 34th. Furthermore, internationally coauthored works, in which the first authors worked in LZU, had been published 291 papers, 11.9% higher than last year and ranked 40 among national universities.
From year 2006 to year 2015，11266 SCI papers of LZU had been cited 129880 times, which made per paper cited times of LZU reached11.52 (8.55 cited times per paper in China, 11.5 cited times per paper in the world) and ranked the 21th among national universities.
Among the one hundred most influential papers of China, “A class of second order difference approximations for solving space fractional diffusion equations” was chosen. This paper is written by the corresponding author, Deng Weihua, a professor from School of Mathematics and Statistics.
