From January 24th to 25th, the entrepreneur team of Lanzhou University named Red Maple Team left for Shanghai to participate in the finals of the first entrepreneurship competition of national intellectual talents. After a fierce rivalry, the project of College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering gained praise of the judges, and finally won the second prize as well as a 20,000-yuan reward.
A total of more than 60 colleges and universities from all over the county participated in this competition. In Lanzhou University, the Youth League Committee and the University Science Park were in charge of the selection and training work of this competition. Finally, the project guided by Professor Xiao Jianxi got the qualification for the finals and obtained excellent results.
In recent years, lzuers have got repeated success in all kinds of innovation competitions, thus driving and incubating more than 10 enterprises starting by college students and 20 enterprises starting by teachers, some of which have acquired financial support from the nation and the government of Gansu Province,and have attracted the attention of many organizations of investment and financing.
