Prof. Torben Mogensen from Hospital Hvidovre of University of Copenhagen in Denmark visited LZU with his team. Pres. Wang Cheng of LZU met them, and conferred to Prof. Mogensen the guest professor contract.
During the meeting, Pres. Wang mainly introduced the history and development of LZU’s School of Medicine, and noted that LZU attaches great importance to the progress of medical education and medical technology. Centering on the goal of building world-class university and first-class disciplines, LZU will proactively strengthen cooperation with University of Copenhagen and other high-level colleges and universities worldwide, so as to accelerate its progress in the field of medicine. Moreover, Pres. Wang pointed out that LZU’s School of Nursing, still in its beginning stage, hoped to learn from the advanced experience of Hospital Hvidovre and to launch in-depth cooperation and exchanges with the latter.
Prof. Mogensen introduced the basic conditions of Hospital Hvidovre, and recalled their cooperation with LZU’s related units. He expressed that abundant cooperation between the two sides had been made in talent cultivation and scientific research, and hoped that both sides could continue their exchanges and cooperation so as to achieve win-win results by mutual learning.
