LZU granted two major national projects

Recently, list of 2016 major projects of the National Social Science Fund and 2016 key projects of philosophy and social sciences, the Ministry of Education were released by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Education respectively. Projects led by Cheng Jincheng, professor in School of Liberal Arts and Sha Yongzhong, professor in School of Management gained support from major projects of National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education.

The Recording of Artistic Exchange at home and abroad along the Silk Road, the major project of National Social Science Fund held by prof. Cheng, centered in artistic exhange along the silk road by discussing ceramics, religion, dance, textile, etc. The project has further deepened the humanities and social sciences research on The Belt and Road Initiatives in our school.

Research on the Risk of City Public Security Driven by Big Data, the key project of the Ministry of Education, held by prof. Sha Yongzhong, centers on the theretical framework, analysis and evaluation of risk management and reconstruction of management mode on city public security driven by big data. In the field of humanities and social sciences research, the key project of research on philosophy and social science of the Ministry of Education is considered to be the highest scientific research project, the same with major projects of National Social Science Fund.

Project approval not only gives full play to the advantages of the basic theory study in our school, but achieves breakthroughs that research on humanities and social sciences in our school have been focusing on major national strategic needs and serving locally development of applied research, which fully demonstrates our university is capable of solving important theoretical and practical problems in philosophy and social sciences research.
