The competition results of the 25th National Mathematics Contest in Modeling have recently been announced, which showed that students of LZU have obtained great results, including one first prize and five second prizes, continuing the successive achievements in the past several years. Besides, 32 teams from LZU all successfully attended the 2016 American Mathematics Contest in Modeling, and won 8 first prizes and 5 second prizes, an evidence of the outstanding academic competence and team spirit of LZUers.
In recent years, with solid theoretical foundation and strong spirit of innovation, students of LZU have made consecutive success in international and national Mathematic Contest in Modeling. We have won 8 first prizes and 37 second prizes nationally, 51 special prizes provincially, 21 first prizes and 46 second in total in the American competition.
