The 2011-15 NSFC Management Commendation Conference was held in Beijing on 13th, December. During the conference, LZU was awarded the Advanced Support Organization of the NSFC Management in the year 2011-15. Besides, Yin Huaiyong, deputy director of the Scientific Research Office of LZU won the title of the Advanced Worker of the Advanced Support Organization of the NSFC Management in the year 2011-15; teacher Yang Zhonghui from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and teacher Liu Xuerui from the School of Mathematics and Statistics were awarded the Certificate of Honor for Longterm Grassroot Work in Science Fund Management.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan, 889 different programs of NSFC made by LZU were approved, with a gross expenditure of 604.10863 million yuan.
