Joint Kick-off Meeting for Variability Characteristics and Mechanism of Extreme Events in South Asian Monsoon Region, a research project cooperated by LZU and Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand and sponsored by NSFC and TRF, and other two programs were held in Beijing from January 9th to 11th.
The meeting was hosted by Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CASand co-organized by LZU after trusted by NSFC. Two project leaders, Prof. Wang Chenghai, and Dr. Jerasorn Santisirisomboon from Ramkhamhaeng University introduced the research content, plan and technology, and assigned division. During the meeting, leaders of each project from both parties introduced their research plans before hearing out instructions and suggestions from experts. Also, thorough discussions were made in terms of research content, plans, progress and personnel exchanges before agreements were reached finally by the participants.
