Chinese culture impresses Saskatoon: The second tour station of LZU Students’ Art Group

On February 10th, LZU Students’ Art Group went to Saskatoon, the second station of show tour in Canada. Together with Confucius Institution of University of Saskatchewan, LZU presented a wonderful show for local people on the theme of Chinese culture in Theatre of Lakeview Church.

Both LZU and Confucius Institution of University of Saskatchewan paid high attention to the performance of introducing Chinese culture, exerting efforts to show the happiness of Chinese Lantern Festival, a traditional festival in China, to Chinese and Foreign friends.

Bev Dobosi, alderwoman of Saskatoon, and Cao Hong, vice president of LZU, both made speeches to declare the importance and practical significance of Sino-Canada educational and cultural communication, hoping that both sides could promote mutual understanding and cooperation. The performance not only fully presented the unique charm of Chinese national art, but also demonstrated the combination of local culture and foreign art.

The audience said that it’s the most impressive and professional artistic performance they’d seen in Saskatoon.
