Recently, Choice, the work of Lin Yandong from LZU Art Academy was listed as the selected pieces of 20th Lahti International Poster Triennial Exhibition 2017 in Finland.
Choice expresses the designer’s inner appeal for peace by its pure visual language. As the symbol of peace, the badly-injured dove on the picture still has eyes like burning torches and facial expressions with strong will. With the oriental painting skills, the light and shade of the body of dove are constructed by the tragic war scene. It is worthy of thinking which one human beings in the community of common destiny will choose, tottering to extermination in war or marching toward a bright prospect hand in hand.
Lahti International Poster Triennial, recognized by ICOGRADA, was created in 1973, as one of the five most authoritative poster exhibitions in the world.
The exhibition this year has received 2100 posters from 33 countries and regions, among which 345 works were selected. The selected works will be shown from June to September in 2017 and collected permanently in Lahti Finland Museum.
