On March 27th, 2nd Sino-Mexico University President Forum was held in Beijing. LZU vice-president Pan Baotian attended the forum and delivered the keynote speech titling “Construction of Scientific Research System for Independent Innovation”.
This forum was sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange, discussing on such subjects as “Sino-Mexico Higher Education System”, “University’s Construction of Scientific Research System for Independent Innovation and Integration of Producing& Teaching”, “STEM Education and Cooperation”, “Students and Teachers Exchange” and “Sino-Mexico Lingual and Cultural Communication and Cooperation” under discussion.
Pan made an introduction to basic condition of LZU, its scientific research and innovation, construction of discipline development as well as its future plan. “LZU always emphasizes international communication and cooperation,” said Pan: “we hope to carry forward our cooperation with Mexico universities in scientific research innovation and staff exchanges as a way of promoting Sino-Mexico communication.” The representative of Mexico wished to strengthen the connection with LZU so as to discuss on the fields for further communication and cooperation.
