From March 20th to 22nd, director Margaret and deputy director Zykov of Ecology Department of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and their group visited Lanzhou University. Pan Baotian, vice president of LZU, signed the agreement with them in united training of graduate students majored in ecology under the framework of SCO University.
Pan Baotian affirmed the fruitful achievements gained by the two sides in their cooperation under the framework of SCO University. He hoped that both sides can continue to develop various content-rich communications to expand the cooperation from students exchanges to scientific research.
Zykov thanked Lanzhou University for its support to the program of SCO University. He spoke highly of the exchange students sent by LZU to his university. He hoped that the two schools can carry out 1+1 graduate exchange program inthe field of ecology and deepen the level and content of cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation visited The School of Agriculture Science and Technology as well as The National Key Laboratory of Grassland Agriculture Ecosystem. The two sides also exchanged views on many details under the framework of the SCO University, such as the way of co-cultivation, curriculum, training time, credit conversion and degree granting.
