KMT's Vice Chairman Lin Zhengze and ARATS' Vice President Jiang Yaoping visit LZU

Vice Chairman of Kuomintang Party(KMT) Lin Zhengze and Vice President of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits(ARATS) Jiang Yaoping visited LZU on the morning of June 23rd. Party Secretary of LZU Yuan Zhanting met the visitors in the VIP room in science museum. LZU Vice President Pan Baotian was present.

Yuan Zhanting extended warm welcome to Lin Zhengze and Jiang Yaoping for their visit and introduced LZU's professional characteristics, preponderant disciplines, talent cultivation, student exchange and the industry-university-research cooperation between LZU and universities in Taiwan. He pointed that LZU is seizing the development opportunities brought by the Belt and Road Initiatives to realize the opening up of education, and hopes to develop more extensive cooperation with colleges and universities in Taiwan.

Lin Zhengze commended that having taken root in Western China for years, LZU sustained great responsibilities to train talents for China. He hopes that LZU can provide the young in Taiwan more opportunities of knowing about Western China and experiencing the development of the Belt and Road in an effort to promote exchange between the young people in Taiwan and the mainland of China.

Accompanied by Pan Baotian, the guests visited the Library of LZU before the meeting.
