From June 22nd to 24th, the first Chinese University Sci-tech Outcome Fair (hereinafter referred to as "fair") was held at Huizhou Convention and Exhibition Center, Guangdong Province, and LZU was on the invitation list.
During the meeting, LZU exhibited two roadshow achievements, "cloud-based industrial dust removal system", and "voice interactive-based smart home ecosystem research and application". Meanwhile over ten research results were highlighted encompassing “the preparation, activity study and application of natural codonopsis polysaccharide and its selenide" and "gene engineering technology to produce collagen”. Moreover, LZU proactively promoted and advertised nearly one hundred outstanding sci-tech achievements attracting in the three-day fair numerous participants and receiving wide attention from all walks of life and favorable comments from the organizing committee. Finally, the team led by Prof. Wang Bo of School of Resource and Environment, won the "Best Roadshow Award" for their "cloud-based industrial dust removal system" project and the team led by Prof. Hu Fangdi of School of Pharmacy pocketed the "Innovation Award" for the other roadshow project, with LZU rewarded by "Excellence Organization Award".
Themed by "going across the industry gap to achieve innovation and win-win", the fair aims to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and to propel all-round cooperation between various universities and enterprises so as to carry forward socio-economic advancement, enabling itself the largest fair for the scientific and technological achievements in Chinese university since the reform and opening up.
