At the invitation of Prof. Wang Yanrong of the School of Pastroal Agriculture Science and Technology(SPAST),LZU and the State Key Laboratory of Grassland Agro-ecosystems(SKLGAE), internationally famous seed ecological experts, former presidents of the American Society of Plant Biologists, Prof. Carol Baskin and Prof. Jerry Baskin from University of Kentucky made an academic visit to the School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology from 14th,June to 11th,July.
Academician Nan Zhibiao met with two professors on June 15th and warmly welcomed them. He expressed gratitude for their guidance and help to LZU teachers and students and expected further long-standing co- research. In the next few days, two professors made several academic reports and attended the Second "Silk Road Economic Belt" College Students Pastoral Agriculture Science Practical Skills Competition & Opening Ceremony of Summer Camp. During their visit, the two professors had several informal discussions with Prof. Wang's team and provided valued suggestions for students.
