LZUers attend 2017 Silk Road Agriculture Education and Sci-Tech Cooperation in Kazakhstan

From 2 to 6 of July, Hou Fujiang, dean of School of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology, and Li Chunjie, the assistant dean, visited S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University in Kazakhstan for 2017 Silk Road Agriculture Education and Sci-Tech Cooperation, and the 2nd Silk Road Agricultural Education and Sci-Tech Innovation Board Meeting. 150 members from 45 universities and scientific institutions in China and other 10 countries along Silk Road attended the meeting, including headmasters, deans, teachers and scientific researchers.   

Prof. Hou gave his speech titled "Grassland Science in Lanzhou University of China".

Centered in "Agriculture Education and Sci-Tech Cooperation, innovation and sharing", the forum practiced the action project of Silk Road agricultural education and sci-tech innovation, promoting comprehensive cooperation for talents, researches and cultures among colleges, scientific institutions and enterprises in China and countries along Silk Road.

Accompanied by Prof. Nurlan Serekpayev, the director of Research Office in S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University and also a pratacultural scientist, and two young teachers from his team – Dr Adilibek Nogayev and Dr Aizhan Bakhralinova, Prof. Hou and Prof. Li were shown the experimental station of grassland agriculture and the new mixture sowing artificial pasture in the university. They reached a consensus on the further sci-tech cooperation, talent training and mutual communication between S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University and LZU.
