Recently, according to the notice List of World-Class Universities and World-Class Subjects (Two World-Class Construction) announced by China's Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance and National Development and Reform Commission, LZU was selected as a world-class university (A); four disciplines, namely, chemistry, atmospheric sciences, ecology and grassology as world-class subjects.
The "Double world-classes construction" is a new higher education improvement project initiating in China. The notice above included 42 world-class universities and 95 universities with world-class subjects.
