LZU succeeds again in 3rd China College Students “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

The final of China College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Xidian University from Sept. 15 to 18. LZU’s project “Construction and Marketing of Kushui Rose’s Ecological Industrial Chain” won the silver prize in the final stage. Projects “Drug Screen Kit with Micro-scale, High Speed and High Performance”, “Technology and Products of Purifying Scattered Coal Smoke in Cloud Method” and “New Reaction System of Hydrogen Sulfide Stripping” were awarded the bronze prizes. LZU vice president Cao Hong attended the competition on invitation and visited LZU’s contestants.

With the theme of “Striving for New Era of ‘Internet Plus’, Expanding the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Powerhouse”, the Competition was co-organized by Ministry of Education, Cyberspace Administration, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, State Intellectual Property Office, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, and Government of Shaanxi Province. When it was officially launched in March, a great upsurge in innovation and entrepreneurship of undergraduates has been created with 377,000 projects and 1.5 million domestic and overseas students participated.  

After the final, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Yandong visited the education achievement exhibition of the 3rd China College Students “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and extended congratulations and encouragement to the award-winning teams and universities.
