On the evening of September 20, “Sing military song, fly youth kite”: 2017 LZU Military Training Students Singing Contests was held in front of Kunlun Hall. Cao Hong, Vice President of LZU, and Zhang Yucheng, military training group leader, director of LZU Selection Office of Chinese People's Liberation Army, were both in the presence.
A total of 12 teams participated in the contest, with the song list including a required song - LZU school anthem, and a self-selected military song for each one. Being vigorous and energetic, they sang songs of passion and vehemence for the audience. Classical tracks such as "Give you a small shell", "when that day comes", "We are the Great Wall of Steel", "Strong battle song" was performed one by one. In the singing loud and round, students shouted out infinite pleasure of military training life, revealing their enthusiastic patriotism.
The contest served as both the checkout of military song sing in training, and the stage for students to show their vitality of youth. “Sing military song, fly youth kite” means igniting the love for our country in military songs. Participated teachers and students proffered a youth gift for 19th CPC National Congress, expressing their wish that motherland could realize the Chinese dream.
Audience of the contest included leading officials of some functional and party departments of LZU, all members of 2017 military training, all the staff, all 2017 undergraduate students and part of faculty.
