During the 31st International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES), which was held in Changsha, Hunan Province from May 25 to 29, Prof. Zhou Youhe, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Dean of the Institute of Superconducting Mechanics at Lanzhou University (LZU) was presented with the “T.H.H. Pian Medal” for his pioneering contributions to the establishment of multi-field coupling mechanics of superconductors and magnets, as well as a closed wavelet numerical method for solving nonlinear problems.
