On September 17, the publication ceremony of "Readers Original Edition · LZUers" was held in Lanzhou university, attended by the university leadership, representatives of Readers Publishing Group, principals of departments and colleges, , alumni representatives and students representatives. The ceremony was chaired by Vice President Cao Hong.
Wang Cheng, Pres. of LZU said in his address that the publication of "Readers Original Edition · LZUers" provides a good platform for inheriting the spirit, telling the stories and transmitting the voice of LZU. The magazine serves as a stage to get alumni united and works to forge a LZU brand. It will be developed to be the spiritual home of LZUers, and forged to be a visiting card of LZU.
It is introduced that the publication ceremony is one of the series activities celebrating the 108th anniversary of LZU. “Readers” is one of the most influential magazines in the country and represents one of the visiting cards of Gansu Province. "Readers Original Edition · LZUers” is a special publication jointly issued by LZU and Readers Publishing Group for all LZU alumni, teachers, students and friends from all walks of life. It is the first alumni publication since the founding of Lanzhou University. As a supplementary issue of "Readers Original Edition”, "Readers Original Edition · LZUers” targets at Lanzhou University Alumni, and sets up fourteen columns such as alumni moments, alumni column, feature reports of alumni, memories of the elites and so on, and thus makes a good book for alumni to read.
