LZU starts to co-construct Confucius Classroom with Tbilisi Open Education University

At the beginning of this semester, LZU made active preparations for the co-construction of Confucius Classroom in Tbilisi Open Education University. Tasks including teaching were also in full swing. Teachers of Confucius Classroom left for David Aghmashenebeli University for an on-the-spot investigation and survey in spite of the rain on October 2.

President of Tbilisi Open Education University Tremouli had an informal discussion with teachers from Confucius Classroom. They communicated and negotiated about relevant matters on the establishment of Chinese language teaching centers in Confucius Classroom. Tremouli expressed ardent desires of learning Chinese by teachers and students, and made inquiries about relevant details. At the same time, both sides reached a consensus on further cooperation of constructing Confucius Classroom, hoping to make efforts to contribute to the educational, technological and humane exchange between China and Georgia.

After the discussion, Tremouli showed them around the university. Guided by advanced philosophy of schooling, the university has complete teaching facilities such as special television and broadcasting stations, multimedia modern classrooms and capacious auditorium. What impressed Chinese teachers most were live-action moot court, advanced crime scene laboratory in department of law, studio provided with live-action experience and press briefing room which were showed around by the president.
