On May 31st, Lanzhou University held a report meeting on the revision of campus construction and the environment promotion design at the Science Museum. The Party Secretary Yuan Zhanting and school leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Jiang Limin, the Vice President of Tongji University Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., introduced the revised plan for campus construction. Associate Prof. Yao Peng from Beijing Forestry University showed the design plan for environment enhancement, and Li Yunyuan, dean of Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Institute of Beijing Forestry University, gave a detailed introduction of the central axis landscape design. Besides, designer Wang Xingguo and Yang Cheng of the China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., respectively interpreted their designs for the exhibition hall in school headquarters and exterior building color.
Secretary Yuan indicated that in the opportunity of “double first-class” project, we should take the campus construction revision and environmental enhancement seriously with responsibility by combining the adjustment of campus functions and the 110th anniversary. Meanwhile, the revision of campus construction should be incorporated into the fifth edition of the Lanzhou’ City Plan. In a word, the campus environment plan is supposed to be further improved, and the construction work can be started as soon as possible after the agreement of the teachers and students.
