Academician Tu Yongqiang appointed as Associate Editor of “Chemical Communications”

It is reported by British Royal Society of Chemistry that in view of his systematic and innovative research achievements in the field of organic Chemistry and his significant contribution to promote the development of contemporary organic synthesis in China, Academician Tu Yongqiang from State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry of LZU has recently been appointed as Associate Editor of the world famous journal of “Chemical Communications”, mainly responsible for editing the relevant contributions from all over the world submitted to the journal in the field of Organic Chemistry (especially Organic Synthetic Chemistry).

Founded in 1964, “Chemical Communications” was one of the most influential high level academic publications in the field of Chemistry. According to the latest journal quoted report in 2012 by American Institute for Scientific Information Inc., the journal’s impact factor is 6.169.
